Yes. Louisville Metro requires a permit for re-roofing and new roofing on houses and commercial buildings, and the work has to pass a final inspection. We pull it under our own name rather than asking you to pull a homeowner permit, which some contractors do to move faster. The permit ties the job to your address permanently, which is worth having when you sell the house or open a claim years later.
Is my roofer licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky?
